Issue 001: Long Live The MINDSET
I. The Situation Report:
It’s 0600 on Matilda. The old MINDSET is dead, and once again, I’m the murderer.
What existed before was a cobbled together patchwork of the skills I had at the time to help me survive through the crises I was faced with. After the Marine Corps, I was just trying to find my own way out of the dark in a strange world that I didn’t understand.
I was leaning on generic motivation to sustain me.
That ends now.
II. The Why | Mission Brief:
The world is on fire and it seems as though most people are either focused on spreading doomer content or are ignoring reality entirely. There needs to be a return to form on how we view the challenges we are faced with.
Navigating the madness of modern day takes the clarity to become aware of it, the vision to escape it, and frameworks to keep you sane and moving forward while you build that escape.
The new MINDSET is born today to serve as a source of light in the sea of darkness that is modern life. Give me your betrayed, your broken, your tired, disillusioned masses yearning to breathe a new philosophy. I count them all brothers, and psychological veterans of todays civilian wars, who quietly refuse to slip into apathy despite the onslaught of spiritual warfare.
Our very spirits are under attack by forces that only appear to be out of our control.
I mean not to preach to you soapbox motivation, but I lean on personal experience and in keeping with the traditions of my Holy Ancestors, I read from the book of counterinsurgency. We as a people have been invaded by a foreign mindset of gross apathy, and a counterinsurgency is in order.
A gorydamn Crusade, against this poisonous mentality overtaking everyone around us. Apathy is NOT the way, and man CAN rise above his challenges.
III. Your Move | Campaign Orders:
Write down three things you’re doing because you think you “should” rather than because they serve who you’re becoming. Just list them. We’ll deal with them later.
IV. Personal Progress Proof:
Yesterday I deleted 50+ old pieces that sounded like everyone else. Felt like loss at first, then I realized: clearing dead weight is progress.
The ground is ready for the Golden Groove now.
